The word ‘recyclable’ is very misunderstood.
For example, the paper-over-bubble packaging requires the end user to remove the paper from the padding and recycle both separately.
As most end users either don’t realise this or don’t have the time, most are not recycled.
Our products are designed to be fully recyclable with NO processing required by the end user – they can just drop it straight into their recycling bin.
When working to reduce your carbon footprint, the common misconception is that a recyclable product is a ‘green’ product, but often that might not be the case.
Where did the materials come from? How far have they travelled? How carbon efficient is the manufacturing process? How green is the recycling process? Can a single use product become a multi-use product?
When developing our range of products, we have considered the carbon footprint at every stage to drive down our footprint as far as possible.
This includes committing to renewable energy to power our centrally located manufacturing facility in Leeds, West Yorkshire.
Being ‘green’ is only one of many considerations for delivery packaging. Weight, durability, robustness, brandability and price are all key factors in picking packaging.
We start by looking at the challenges that any particular sector may face, and see if we can create a better solution.

The ecoMLR range is certified as AA Recyclable by Cyclos-HTP.
If your business or organisation uses packaging, or sells packaged goods, you may be classed as an obligated packaging producer. As the ecoMLR range can be fully recycled in the household recycling, this helps brands achieve the highest levels of sustainability and product protection.
