Our customer is the world’s leading meal-kit delivery service provider.

Our Cool Pouch was developed to insulate and protect chilled products in our clients meal-kit boxes. The Cool Pouch is used as secondary packaging primarily for dairy and protein products which need to remain chilled until the consumer receives the meal kit.

Our client previously used a plastic based product, however after listening to their customers views and perceptions on plastics, decided to move to a paper based solution. The Cool Pouch can be kerb side recycled using the standard household paper waste stream.

We currently deliver Cool Pouches to our customer’s distribution centres across the UK, Europe and North America and we plan to continue moving into new markets as this dynamic business continues to grow.

The team worked with the customer to tailor the Cool Pouch to the local requirements and production processes, creating a variety of bag sizes and insulation levels available; dependant on the time of year and country of use. The product is in continuous development experimenting with different formats, papers and coatings.

Across all geographies we despatch 500,000 Cool Pouches per week.
